Marshall Ray
RAY Marshall - Zack Ray, A resident of IL. for 32 years , Marshall passed on March 31st, 2005 at the Joliet Community Hospice Home, Joliet IL. He was born Oct. 4th, 1946 in Thomasville Ga. and lived in Monticello Fla. While young , the family moved to Jacksonville Fla. where he graduated from Jacksonville University Diane M. Ray and their son TODD Ray survive him. Marshall played in The Strangers andRonnie and The Soul Society from 19641972 also Good & Plenty In Illinois and also worked as a Substitute Teacher ,Later in 1979 with IMS until 1996, Marshall is also survived by sisters Barbara Sullivan, Carolyn Cannon, Judith McClelland & Elaine Overby and their husbands , as well as 1 nephew and 2 nieces . A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 7th. at 11 am at the Switzerland Community Church, 2179 State Road 13, Switzerland Florida with The Rev. Wesley Slough Officiating. Family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the Service. Family and friends are asked to join in Ce lebrating the Life of Marshall , after the service in the Bardin Hall . In Lieu of Flowers, The Family asks that Donations be made to the Illinois Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Illinois Chapter HDSA
