Bonnie Reid Phelps-Attaway left us to be with the Lord on October 12, 2009. She was a graduate of Lee High School Class of '64 and had a life time career in the medical field. As we mourn her loss we are all reminded of all the unforgettable times we shared with joy and sorrow, laughter and tears: but always with love. She was the thread that wove us all together to form a strong connection of family and tradition. She was preceded in death by her late husband retired JSO, Sgt WE Phelps. And leaves to mourn her loving husband of only 6 months Frank H. Attaway, and devoted family, Son, Scott Lee, Daughters, Brenda Horan and Penny Davis, 3 loving granddaughters, Maegan, Emily, and Rachael, her mother Louise Crosier, sister Dale Parker, brothers Mark and Michael Crosier and extended family and friends. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday October 13, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 729 South Edgewood Avenue Jacksonville, FL 32205 A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 8523 Normandy Blvd. at 11:00 A.M. with burial immediately following at Riverside Memorial Garden. Arrangements made by Hardage- Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32210.
