Comment: After graduation from Lee HS attended Chipola Jr. College 2 years.  Joined US Marine Corps in 1967 - 1970 Tour in Vietnam 1967-1968 Long Range Recon (Khe Sanh) and balance of time in Washington DC.  After service Florida Atlantic University 1972 (BBA).  MBA Florida International University 1979.  Worked in Computer Sales. Balance of career included operations in Savings and Loan/Banks and property/asset manager in commercial real estate Office Buildings/Industrial/Shopping Centers.  Retired in 2003. Two grown children,  Daughter (2 grandsons) lives in Minnesota and son in US Army graduated West Point and now career army officer stationed at Ft. Stewart GA..(1 grandson)  Photo is my daughter (Kristen) and son (Kyle) + yours truly.

I look forward to seeing friends and classmates. The bare facts: graduated Yale 1968, majoring in Latin American studies; enlisted in U.S. Navy, specialties photography and photographic electronic systems (Pensacola and San Diego); graduated UC Hastings College of Law (San Francisco) 1975; attorney and senior counsel at California State Automobile Association (AAA) until retirement at 2005; now an art docent at the Oakland Museum of California and a volunteer in the Coast Guard Auxiliary (Alameda).  Family: Married Linda McGilvray (Glen Cove, Long Island) 1969; son Andrew working in Boston area in microbiology, daughter Sarah Cameron just completed MBA at Haas Schol of Business (UC Berkeley) after working in investment in Menlo Park, and Rebecca Elizabeth (Sarah's twin) getting settled in Bristol, England. Oh yes, mother Vera is retired in Cocoa, Florida, at age 101.  Hobbies: puttering, reading (chiefly history and art), gardening (herbs and vegetables), and writing.

Comment: After graduation maried childhood sweetheart, moved to Atlanta, Ga for 1 yr, returned to Jax, Fl, had one daughter, divorced;remarried, had 2 more girls, had a house fire in 1976, lost 4 yr daughter, moved to SC to get away from memories, divorced and returned to FL in 85, remaried wonderful soulmate with 3 children.  Retired from BC/BS medicare after 26 yrs, moved to the country.  have 11 grandchildren, only 2 granddaughters, and one great grandson.  Finally able to attend a renunion.

Comment: A month after graduation, Jimmy Watts, also a 1964 Lee graduate,  and I drove to Folkston, Georgia and eloped.  We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary July 11th!  Have no idea where 50 years have gone!  Three years after we married, our daughter, Michelle was born.  Now 47, she and her husband and our three grandchildren, live in Charleston, SC, where Michelle is a professional equestrian, teaching and training in the discipline  of Dressage.  Jim, now working 10 days a month, is an avid vegetable Gardner and a beekeeper.  He plays golf and is very active in our church, Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Burlington, NC.  At age 50, I started painting and now successfully teach watercolor painting and sell my work.  My sister, who lives next door to me, and I have  a business, "Fresh" (we go picking and find things that no one loves and we "refresh" and sell them) with three locations, one in Burlington and two in  Greensboro.  Jim and I are very excited about our reunion and are looking forward to catching up.

Comment: When they write the 'book of my life, it will be titled "My Two Wives / My Two Lives". It's been an interesting run. OK, Here we go... 1964 Graduated from Lee HS much like the rest of you. 1964 Started my education at the University of Florida. 1967 Married Sharon Willcox 1969 Finally graduated from the U of F 1969 Moved to Jax for my first real job: Atlantic National Bank, Jacksonville. 1972 Moved to Silva, NC, for one quarter (almost) of graduate school at the University of Western Carolina. 1972 Moved back to Jax, started sales/merchandising career with Kraft Foods Corp. 1972 Moved to Lake City with Kraft. 1973 First son, Benjamin, is born. Ben, now 41 yrs old, is working for the Government Printting Office in Washington, DC.  1975 Built my first house. 1976 Moved to Gainesville with Kraft. 1979 Built my second house. 1979 Left Kraft to start a home building business...turned out to be not such a good idea! 1984 After moving 16 times in 18 years, I somehow find myself living alone in Ft. Lauderdale, divorced and broke, working as a carpenter. 1986 I start working as an estimator for Holland Builders where I meet the young and lovely Karen Cotherman. 1986 Karen and I are married after a very short courtship. They said it wouldn't last...We are still married 28 years later. 1989 Worked 7 yrs as an estimator for a structural concrete company building high rise condos in S. Fla. 1994 Our son, David, is born. He is our own 'Little Harmon' having excelled at any sport he has played. David just started his Jr. year at the University of Charleston West Virginia on a baseball scholarship.  1996 I started my career with homebuilder/developer Minto Communities in Coconut Creek, where I am still working. Being 'Dad" to my two sons has been the greatest joy of my ife. While having children 20 years apart may be seen as the the height of poor family planning, there has been a constant stream of people (both young and old) coming in and out of my life. And I have loved every minute of it! I am, however, looking forward to retirement... someday..

Comment: Hi All...Last minute change in plans, so unfortunately can't join you for the 50th reunion in Jacksonville this weekend...hope you have a great celebration...see you next time.

Briefly, after Lee, earned two bachelors and three masters degrees(MBA, Architecture, Project Management). First bachelors in Europe, started on PhD but returned for military service in Army on special weapons team in asia/pacific. Later worked in architecture, construction management, development designing/building/developing high rise buildings, corporate headquarters, transit systems, power plants, hospitals, military installations around the world. Served as CEO and later as COB for large engineering/construction/development companies, lots of M&A transactions, startups and venture capital. In 1980 relocated from New York to San Francisco Bay Area, been on west coast since. Sold the companies several years ago and switched attention to non-profit boards, guest lecturer at business schools, venture capital, travel, and executive coaching for CEO's of global companies (BP/Arco, Chevron, Disney, Sony etal) and startup entrepreneurs(lots more fun). Married to Carlene, two grown kids and eight grand kids. Recently settled in north San Diego County on some acreage near the ocean, surrounded by horses and avocados. May "retire" someday...having too much fun now. Pls stay in touch and stop by for a visit if/when visiting southern Cal.

Comment: Retired from Duval County Public Schools Personnel Department and Budget Department after 35 years. Went back to Budget Department after two years and worked part-time for another 6 years. Have one daughter, a granddaughter and a step-grandson.
